I just wanted to ring a bell to everyone that the Walk for Water 2010 initial planning is underway. Our 2010 goal is have 1000 walkers participate. One thousand may sound like a big number, yet at Portland Roasting we believe this goal is achievable. With this participation, we will be able to raise $28,000 to build two wells in Tanzania. How does this happen?? It’s not rocket science, it’s a combination of registration fees of $20 per walker (kids 12 and under FREE) and corporate sponsorships. We want to reach out to all our stakeholders and the Portland community and invite you to join us in our cause. You can sign up for the Walk for Water 2010 as an individual and donate $20, or you can sponsor a group people to walk.
