Andres Castro - Our Colombian correspondent with the fancy accent, Andres is in charge of quality control systems and green bean logistics.

Andy Davis – One of our resident coffee roasters with a love of single origins, there’s a 90% chance Andy’s nose is in a book on any given day at lunchtime.

Emily Bryant — Emily, our latest addition to the sales staff, will share recipes, if nudged. She is a graduate of the Western   Culinary Institute patisserie and bakery program.

Eric Mwarabu — Eric traveled from Tanzania to spend the year as a Portland Roasting intern. He will share stories of his advcntures and discoveries as he immerses himself in specialty coffee culture.

Justin Goergen - When not managing key wholesale accounts, Justin heads up our e-team, helping each of us reduce our waste. He also has a lovely collection of cardigan sweaters.

Kathleen Finn – Kathleen works and plays with words and works with Portland Roasting to put them all together in one big, and many small,   evocative packages in her role in Corporate Communications.

Marie Franklin – Marie’s extensive background in coffee makes her our go-to lady. Her danish flair is unparalleled.

Mark Stell – Managing Partner Mark Stell oversees our staff of 27 and spearheads our Farm Friendly Direct Projects, traveling to source many times a year. He always returns from his trips with a mighty beard and loads of video footage.

Paul Gilles – As VP of Operations, Paul makes sure product gets out the door. We find him very impressive when he speaks Japanese, although he could be making fun of us for all we know.

Ryan Johnson – Our other roaster extraordinaire, Ryan rides his bike everywhere and can often be found donning a vintage hat.

Stephanie Backus – Our resident Q-Certified coffee grader also doubles as our purchasing manager, bringing in delicious coffees for us to try. She has a secret love of things in miniature.

Steve Jacques – Steve helps our customers make the perfect latte while amazing them with his extensive knowledge of coffee. Go ahead, ask him something.
